Primary school visit

June 26, 2018 | Filed under: outreach and tagged with: Mexico, outreach, public engagement

I visited a Derbyshire primary school to tell class 1 my experiences of going to Mexico. I went to Mexico in 2004 to present this poster, it was my second ever international conference. I didn’t speak to the children about the poster but I did get to tell them a bit about being a scientist. Most of all though they were interested in everyday things like people, the weather, and ancient ruins. Probably the most important thing I did this week.
